About	Immaculate Grill of a Willis Truck. Thats about the biggest hood ornament I have seen. The eyes light up red but the bulbs were missing on this unit.

You do your research very well. I had a chance to own one of these as my first vehicle but instead I chose a 59 Chevy. Now I can use a four wheel drive truck like this one.

Excellent shot Ernie. I learned something new. I had never heard of this make of truck before. From Wikipedia:

The Willys Jeep Truck is a truck made by Willys-Overland Motors from 1947 to 1965. The styling and engineering of the Jeep Truck was based on Willys' existing vehicles, the Willys Jeep Station Wagon and the Jeep CJ-2A.

Yes this is an American manufacturer. Its was Willy's or Willis the precurser to Jeep. This was like the Cadillac of four wheel drive vehicles.
