wow.. I never noticed the tightness at the top.. I agree with you, but also want to add that maybe everything else is strong enough for the viewer to overlook that glitch :)
I am having a great time here since I came back. Thinking when you will land here and we'll get to do some photography together !

I was.. for the past 5 years. Moved back to India this December for family reasons.
Pity you can't make it to India now.. but maybe someday you will be, and we will meet..

I spent 3 months in India in 1984/5, Avi. Visited Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur, Pushkar, Patna, Benares. But I wasn't into photography in those days, I only had a half-frame Olympus Pen and my images weren't the best. I'd love to get back, unfortunately I'm 'between positions' at the moment due to the recession so it doesn't look like it'll happen in the near future - anyway, I thought you were NY based?

It can only be India, the sombre sad mood contrasting with the garishly lit taxi and the litter. Well, it's a bit noisier than I'd expect from a 5D, but that's not what this sort of photography should be concerned with anyway. The right half of the image makes a great shot on it's own too.
