About	An image from a series on a social documentary project I’m doing at college. Craster is a coastal village in Northumberland famous for its smoked herrings called kippers. Due to one reason or another the herring have now all gone from are shores and are now imported from Norway. It’s a sad fact but the reality is that someday this shall be a trade that will die off. I hope to just record something of this while it still exists today.

I think its really just down to over fishing but still plenty other fish just the herring that have gone.
I hope this place still has many more years of work though
