Mostly I cut the top of mountains or trees in order to 'close'/frame the image in some way but, at a second look, I must admit I got it here maybe too strongly!?

Nice landscape. Would have IMO been better had you stepped back a bit and gotten the entire tree(s) in the picture rather than have them cut off at the top.
