Well, it was not bad at all! Perhaps a bit too strong color on the skin, but this can also be a false color profile. When I open it the skin has a much more natural hue. (Attachment.)
Taste doesn't have to do with exaggerations, Gustavo. The tasteful is definitely not the "superfluous". But you seem to think that it has to be much in order to be good.

Querido amigo, siempre considero seriamente tu crítica: efectivamente la foto original captura una mirada muy bella, tal ves un poco poco plana por la falta de luz y con una exposición insuficiente. De todas formas a mí me pareció que le faltaba algo más, por eso busqué completarla con las nubes y en ese sentido he sido consecuente con mi gusto personal. Tenes razón en que la superposición del rostro con la nube no sea la mejor decisión y teniendo eso en cuenta, creo que puedo mejorar la imagen. Como siempre seguiré tus consejos y seguiré trabajando...

The face of the child is really excellently captured, Gustavo, and I mean just that. Only the face itself, its expression, the great exposure balance for the wonderful gradients that make it so touchable in all its plasticity. The details are already great and I guess that they would be even better... if you would just stop superimposing such unneeded things like "heavens and clouds" to such good shots.... Is that overload of "heavens" really needed? Doenn´t it almost... rape (???) the child's own cheek? Look at that... You turned it almost to an X-Ray picture that shows me its skull of death.
And still the original seems to have been so good that it didn't need any of your "photoshopographical betterings". The only problem it had was a not as good exposure balance. So, you don't get any better by "salvagung" it with the addition of your own visions at the time of the shot. You have to try again. The posted image gets a 4. The original gets already a 5. Do photography at last!

Querido amigo, ni dudas me quedan sobre tus gustos por el B&W, bien Boren and der Club of Gore!...:-), Te cuento que me invitaron al 19 aniversario de un programa radial de jazz del cual fui colaborador muchas veces...me llegué con tus discos!...:-)
El tiempo está raro por aquí, pero ya está haciendo calor y la gente se arrima al río y a la playa, las vacaciones seguramente las pasaremos en La Boca, pero nos tomaremos unos días para ir a algún otro lado, pero eso está aún a decidir...
Por mi parte sigo firme con la bicicleta...:-)

Es cierto, los fines de año siempre son demandantes y en adición, a todos nos encuentran bastantes cansados...
Respecto de la foto, me encantó esa mirada soñadora como de quién imagina castillos en el aire, probé los castillos, pero las nubes me parecieron más sugerentes...:-), la foto original es linda pero según mi parecer, es como que le falta algo...
