About This photograph (6071) was shot at the Seattle Aquarium on 14 July 2008.

It has been cropped and I pushed up the contrast (+40). No additional manipulations.

These snails were clinging to the side of a tank. I turned my camera to capture a more interesting scene.

Roger - I think the coloring helps the space look. That's from being underwater with those aquarium lights. I tried color correction, which certainly made the colors more natural; but I thought it was at the sacrifice of something important so left the color alone in the end.

Rajdeep - Thanks. I think it's interesting too how they appear aligned when they are really just randomly distributed.
