Brigitte, This is a beautiful scene!!! I believe I may have been to this exact spot about 30 years ago!!! I took a motor trip thru Calif. Traveled along route 1 from Frisco to Eureka and back and stopped at about every scenic overlook there was! The day I was there it was a bit overcast but still breathtaking!! You did a great job with the compoisition here!!! The colors are excellent!!Take Care!..............John

Greetings, Dave! Thanks so much for your kind words... I am glad that, in part, you have been inspired to visit this wonderful part of California. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to not only photograph, but to "soak in" the natural beauty. You will not want to go home any time soon. Also, Dee will be very pleased because much of the coast up here is dog friendly, and if not, there are signs posting otherwise. If you plan on camping, I suggest you make reservations for weekends or be prepared to pay dearly for dog friendly accomodations up here. Weekdays, you should have no problems finding something in the many State and County Parks or even private campgrounds along the coast. Thank you for your kind comments.

"Alive" is exactly how I felt being there.... watching and listening to the sea crashing against the rocks makes you feel very alive. When the daily routine of the city beats me down, this is where I run away to. Thank you for expressing your feelings. I am pleased that you saw the life. I only wish you could have experienced it in real life.
