About	Where I fish is brackish water so I very seldom catch catfish. I was surprised when I pulled this one in. I left my foot in the photo as a size reference.

Oh a fellow fisherman, didn't know that. Great catch Del both ways LOL, it almost matches the salmon I caught last year.

Mmm looks good..:) Haring: a typical Dutch delicacy is eating a raw herring (fish) with raw onions. You pick the fish up by the tail and let is slide into your mouth gradually. Of course the head is removed and the fish has been cleaned. The first catch of the season is called Hollandse nieuwe (‘Dutch new one’)Do you will try Del..? LOL best regards,riny
