About Another photographic hint of the very simple fact that the wonderful diversity in nature is achievable by repetitive appliance of the same simple principles. Branching, and sub-branching, and sub-sub-branching, and so on -it is always the same simple and crystal clear law. No myths, no mysticism, absolutely nothing of that stuff with which many want to replace knowledge and deep thinking.

A sequence sequence of branching described in the mathematical sense offers more understanding of and thus admiration for nature than any myths may offer. Just watch the simple pattern here :-)

On the photo itself now, I have some problems with the composition since it includes some parts that are not really focusing on the main subject - like for example the leaves at the top left. What do you think?

Thank you very much, Ace!

By saying "deep" you must be referring to the silence that it shows?

Have a nice weekend,

Nick

Yes, I remember now that I heard that term some time ago. The funny thing is, whenever I see something like this I do think about something Japanese-like. But you told me why I do. Thank you for reminding me, Greg! And also thank you for your nice comment!

I think it's very cool. Have you heard the term bokeh. I believe it Japaness and is where the blurred out in a photo background is as interesting if not more so than the infocus foreground. I think this image falls into that category.

Bingo, Dave! It was exactly my own idea, this repetition out of focus back there.

Many thanks and best wishes,

Nick

I like this one with the branches repeated, out of focus in the background, Nick!
