Wonderful work putting this together Sheila, it can be difficult deciding which image goes where in a collage but I think you've got it spot on ~ all great sharp images and when put together make a stunning presentation ~ many congrats on your award!

My primal interest the details and abstract composition, therefore I think so this collections is
very intersting and full of absolutely great details of abstraction.
Love the many nice exciting part of car, very powerful
collection. Very original idea, my favourite one is the eighth picture.
It is very well cropped and well detailed reflections
it gives more extra enjoy for the viewer. Just let
me congratulations for your well deserved "PoD" award.

Thank you for your honest critique Claude. I chose the license plate for the center photo for several reasons. The main reason that I chose it was because it was different from all of the other shots (mainly that it didn't have the curves and lines that the other shots did). I liked how the squared feeling of that photo off-balanced (and therefore balanced) the other shots. I also felt that it worked well as an anchor in the center spot. Lastly, I liked how the word Imperial was spread across the back and that it was above the license plate- it sort of says what the collage is about- it's about that particular Imperial.
I do like the idea of the headlight though. I think that in my next car collage I will be sure to include a shot of the headlight.

Interesting collection. I think I would have chosen a different shot (headlight?) for the center piece. The surrounding shots have simpler lines (or curves) than the one with the license plate. B&W works very well. Regards, Claude

Like Doyle, I posted a comment only to discover the image was missing...you are quick! Saw the original last night but didn't have time to commment. I think Phil's suggestion to sharpen was right on...this version looks clean and crisp! Great lines, well presented, and perfect choice for b&w...very nice Sheila!
