Nacho-- Thanks so much for the wonderful comment. Coming from you, someone who appreciates the Divine in your inspired architecture photos, I truly feel flattered by your kind words. I see the symbols of the Divine in everything around us including beer-drinking eaters of crabs as well as a night light in a bathroom. --Best to you, Jan

Great title for this interesting scene. Everyone seems to be busy with their own thing. Nice capture.

Hi Jan,
You've made a great image here - I love the feeling you put into it - also your sense of humor in the title and the historical artistic reference ;-)
Thank you for your kind words on my Inner Harbor photo!
Hey, we live only about 25 minutes apart - we should get together, have some lunch or dinner and schmooze. My email is srosenbach_at_gmail.com (just replace the _at_ with an "at" sign)

Thanks for the encouragement on this one -- and the tip for color balance. I played with the same adjustment you suggested on some of the pix I took at the same party with good result but never got to trying it on this picture. I was able to do similar adjustment in Photo Impact 11 but am now in the process of planning a Photo Shop buy. Bought Photo Shop C2S for Dummies to get me started.

pops, this version is so much better!
The grain is pretty strong (low lighting?) My comments still stand from the last post of this image, adding that the crop here is perfect! Seeing it with the crop now add weight to the left side of the image, making it easier to spot you in the image. This draws attention to the guy in the yellow shirt.. and that causes the image to have a yellow tint. In photoshop :) ..try a slight contrast curve in the blue (image->adjust->curve). It'll balance out the warmth in the room, and get the white more neutral. ...hope ya don't mind.. image attached :)
very well done! best yet! :)

Thanks, Jon. The similarity struck me as kind of weird. 13 in the shot, some sitting, some standing. However, I have eaten since so go figure. :)
