Hi Christine,
Very nice shot ! Like the tones and composition,
The fact that there's no bright lightfall creates a bit a feeling of loneliness, that fits well to the view.
Mayybe this sounds a bit morbide, but I like cemetries. The special and peaceful atmosphere is really nice. Depending on season and weather these places can feel great and fill you of respect or just let you feel the loneliness.
I added a shot of last year made during a short vacation on the island of Texel on the north coast of Holland. It's a war cemetry.

Hi Christine! I guess I missed this as well. I had the oppportunity to shoot these in the Philippines and the best time is when it's cools so they're not too active. One thing I just learned (thru Gennaro Manna) is to use flash to get the best lighting so that ISO doesn't need to be cranked up. Beauty of photography - we always learn! Hope to see you around.
