Thanks Gregory. I've had the 1Ds Mk II since December and love it.

Thanks Jason. I agree that this is the weekest of the series. I had planned to stop the series with the previous door, but decided to continue it based on popular demand. I selected this image because the composition is very different than any of the other door shots I took, and I wanted to get feedback on it. Surprisingly, some people have liked this one more than some of my others --- go figure. I'll be posting a few more in the continued series that I think are stronger.

Thanks Petal. Looks can be deceiving though. I shot it from the side of a road. It was a very steep, 1.5-lane road, and if I remember right, I had to go up it in first gear. So, at least the horses under the hood (or "bonnet" if you prefer) got a workout.

Wonderful! Great family portrait. Looks a bit soft, probably because you were hurrying to get in position as they were trying to avoid you. Nice work.

Cool! Excelllent focus and shallow DOF led me right to the eye. Love it!

I like it! It's great to see the detail in the drop of what's out of focus in the bigger view. The image looks a bit soft, like maybe you were a bit too sleepy to hold the camera still enough.

Great flower. Nice detail, and vibrant colors. At first I didn't like the green grass (?) sticking out on the right, but then noticed a silimar piece sticking out at the bottom, and it seems to fit. I would probably lighten the image towards the top and darken it towards the bottom to even out the brightness on the flower.

Maybe you should post a reply directly to Jason peta. Although to be fair, the handles in our shots operate differently.

Nice shot with a great title. I like this one much more than the similar one you have with him looking back over his butt.

Nice shot. I think I'd prefer to have the bull's eyes more in focus than the cow's because he's the more interesting of the two, plus the catchlight in his eye really draws my eye to his out of focus eye.

Great series. I like this one and the scale the best because they have a nice sense of motion to go along with a nice composition. The dice shots also has a clear sense of motion, but the first image starts in an odd place for me. The "dancer" looks like you just used strobe for the heck of it.
