The shadow draws you into the intesity of the boy. The scene benefits from the warm colors. I added this to my favs.

Nice colors j/k
Tight crop and movement make a darn pretty picture. A good use of the new toy.

Just put this in my favs. Fabulous shot. I have never seen tea look so umm.. .hmm.. sexy. Warm and inviting with the right amount of movement.
This one diffently deserved a ribbon.

To me, Alisa, just outstanding. Perfect focus, excellent tones. A great and adventurous feeling to it. Marília

...grande dettaglio per un'idea molto originale, è una foto di te stessa?

Hi Alisa! I really like this one. Very good abstract and macro! looks great in B&W! My best regards,
Diana.

The toning on this is great! I also like the perspective you chose to photograph the strings...again.

Very well done John. You do have a way of completing an emotion that you set out for.
Even the thin frame adds perfectly.

Diggin' the fading sharpness and the movement. It works really well at this size too. I can easily see this with a large white matt and think black frame.

Whatever you are messing around with don't change it! This really jumps out and has some impressive character to it. Way to make the inanimate come to life.

How cool! Interesting comp and subject. Of course the texture adds a perfect amount of character to the scene. I should go back and do more lights.

A.A.L,
Talk about carrying your own weight. The backback is larger than she is. The tight crop works well. Oh and you are forgiven now

Smooooooooth Mickey They do work well together. The tilt and the crop makes this more fun than if it were not.

Hmmm Andy..
What was the appeal? I was playing around and got this one of part of Beth with some coffee. I showed it to her and we both thought it was pretty darn cool :p so I thought I would play around some more. I was also thinking of the triptych that I did a while back called "Hands". As you can tell by many of my photos I tend to focus in on parts of the whole.
Thanks Mary, Rhonda and Andy for your support :p

i like what you did here but the the light of the sky and the very dark buildings take away any impact the photo may have had.

Pow! I think the selective focus adds movement. That poor other flower, watching in jealousy while his friend explodes with life.

Way way cool Mary. Love the tight crop and choice of framing this verticle. Just love how the arm of the child leads my eye into the swimming color. I would also like to see this in B&W for a completely different feel/mood.

I just luv' dem purty colors and dem triangles.
The blue broken up with the bright yellow sure does makes this sing louder than a canary in goldmine.

I always love pics of these classic cars.
Such character to this photo. At 28mm this really grabs the attention. The toning jumps out at you!
Have you also tried it with less saturation as well?
