Thank you Roberto, Rajdeep, Abishek, Radovan,and Miodrag for you generous comments.... Miodrag I would have found it impossible to shoot this without a tripod....I pushed it fairly hard into the sand to try and keep it steady... I still got quite a few blurred ones though...I shot in bulb mode with a cable release and after each shot I checked the LCD screen and histogram and from that I altered the exposure time...thanks again

Doug.... thanks for taking the time to stop by and comment...the exposure was meant to be longer but because of the sun I had to end it prematurely... so through providence I got this image ...I don't think what I had originally intended to do would have got me such a pic....many thanks..
