This is one of the best photos that I've seen in a long time! The composition couldn't be better! The colors on the elephant and the head wrap are the perfect cherry on top!
I like the idea of the off-center framing and the black is a great contrast to your image. I only think that I might have made the frame the tiniest bit smaller only because it draws the eyes away from your wonderful subject a little.
Other than that it's fabulous! Love it, love it, love it! Well done!

Great portrait Doyle! And what a handsome young lad y'all have!
The conversion to black and white is wonderful and I like how you've used the dof. I also like how the couch enters the photo and leads us straight to the subject. It's such a great strong leading line!
The only change that I might make is to clone out the white specks from the background on the left side. I just feel like I'm brought into the photo, led straight to your subject and then suddenly I'm distracted by the little white specks. Other than that, it's a great portrait and I love it!

The weather has not been very "photographer friendly" around here lately. I was delighted to get a minute without rain to go out and shoot these little blooms (it's even raining -AGAIN- right now!). I'm hoping to get out and shoot more soon!
