I love the lighting on all three of your postings today, especially the rocks. Oh by the way, I love the tart flavor that Quince give so to jams and Jellies.

You have created a great picture here. It looks like you have a big spotlight coming right down in the middle of the rocks. Great work. Don.

I was born and raised on a farm so I love these rural scenes. Is that your farm in the background? What about the cattle, are they yours? What a beautiful tranquil looking home. Del.

That's how the area I live in looks like: low horizons and lots of sky. I don't have to do anything special to get that effect, Nature made it that way.
Skies are just beautiful and so full of changing color and form. I see the storms coming in from far away, I see rain clouds and sunshine at the same time. It can be dry and sunny at my place and it can rain tons in the next village the same time. That's why I do love the forest, but wouldn't want to live in them forever. My sister does and she never sees the sun disappear at the 'edge of the earth'. That's why I'm in love with this place.
If you look up the photo's of that little church I took so many times, that's what I see when I look out my front window.

Nice composition wih converging lines. Not to force you into a defined pattern, but I'm inclined to think that a B&W version of your own may work well here.

The photo was made end last year. For another website we were asked to write something that had to do with the figure 1 million.
And then I went over my photo's to see if there was one I could use for that, stumbled upon this one and came up with the words in no time.
Most of the time the photo is first and then I write what I feel or comes to mind looking at it.

Sometimes I use a site where I can find rhyming words, because my English vocabulary is not that big, due to the fact that it's not my native language and my pronounciation is not always right wich will bring on a wrong rhyming word. So the words I choose are mostly simple words.

That's all and I love to write to photos.

I got this invitation the other day from a Dutch photoclub to show my rhyming images and discuss them with their 35 members. Scared the hell out of me at first. ha ha I'm just an amateur, who am I to teach others, I told them not to ask me anything technical about my photos, I wouldn't know what to answer, I just capture moments with one click. Thank God for digital cameras.

It feels sad, yet serene. The curve of the road alleviates the long and empty field.
