Must of missed this one. Great work
But seriously, the colors are striking and the cut off composition makes it stand out from your average moth shot hon.
Wish it was bigger

Ok now I must go back after seeing yet another cool piv from this new found spot.
Chels.. I think if you cropped the wood structure in the background this would be a stronger image. Would provide a more desolate feel to go with the sign.

There is a song from the English Beat with this title , no? Fun image. I can see this working as an album cover.

Damn.. jealous of this new location. This is by far my favorite of all of yours Larry. I'm loving the contrast of all the layers! Almost makes me want to hit it again...

I like this one the best Larry. The POF is more defined than the other two. You called it with the color treatment. Yo' da man.

This works well in b&w Andy. I would love to see this as a pano shot as well. Do you have any more from La Jolla?

I would say so. I would like to see her face uncovered from all that hair. The outfit is something else, unless you were going for the 80s lady :P THink it might work better also if you choose a simpler background.

Roy,
The composition seems to be going in different directions. The part in the middle is distracting. I would like to see it shot through the middle of the part in the forground.

The grey background plays nicely with the red Mary. The bend of the stem flows into the sharp petAls.
Eric has another opinion, but don't listen to him. I know better

The bird quiets the chaos and settles the eye. Adding the vengetting was an excellent call to draw you into the middle. For once I am glad this only has a semi-holga look to it instead of complete blur.

What works for me is the lines playing off each other. I also like how the wave moves your eye right into the pier.

This has a nice warm feeling of nastalgia to me. I could easily see this as a card with a nice saying on it. The dof works perfectly.
