wonderful portrait. there is always the idea of what brings you to a photo that makes you say "what is happening here?" and this photos makes me want to learn more about him and his story.

One of my favorites thus far. I'd like to come back to this spot in early Spring...many beautiful flowers that had come and gone already. Lucky to find these willows/grasses (?)... not sure what they are.

Wonderful photo. I love to read all the comments. What I love best about this picture is the confidence of the girl... her eyes beautiful and direct. She is not cowering or hiding. Beautiful girl and as all are saying the contrast of men to women here makes a huge statement. Thanks for sharing your photo!

Hello,
thanks for you comments. I agree. I realized my horizon was sloped after I had sent the image. I'll play around on photoshop and replace it. I know what you mean about DOF as well. I didn't have a tripod with me and yes having it mostly clear throughout would be nice too. thanks for your thoughts.

Beautiful portrait.
Oh.. all of your portraits of your family are wonderful.. what I would LOVE to see is an intimate portrait of you and your wife together... you photos depict such a love throughout your portfolio
I'd love to see a photo of you together as well...
would be lovely...

Oops Hiya David,
I do have PS and occassionally have used the sharper function but not all the time. I haven't found it to work that well. When my pics are blurry they are usually much too blurry for that function. . I guess though I might try it with these. Thanks for your note and thoughts.

I do have a tripod and remote but I am visting my Mom in NC and didn't bring my tripod. I wished I had it during this photos and few others that I've taken while I have been here.

hiya..
it was a trick to get it. They all would, on reflex, open there mouths when I shot the photo with my flash... but it was an instant after the flash went off.. then I tried to double shot it and the flash didn't always shoot twice... so I didn't know what I was getting and LUCKILY was the flash caught them right on target... 66 shots and these were the best of the group.
