The blown areas spoil the image a bit but the important part - her face - is intact and that makes the image work for me. I like the way you've included her hand and walking stick.

I like the way they're ignoring you, it looks much more natural. You've made it look like polar bears are a commonplace sight and you're getting good resolution from that lens.
