I like working with leaves in my luxagraphic work (though I have, perhaps arbitrarily, chosen to work only with single exposures). You can get really nice matrices of colors and textures. Good example.

This reminds me of some of the aerial work of Emmett Gowin.

Ann - Have fun in Vagas. There is much to be had. You may want to check out my manifesto so as to acquaint yourself with my luxagraphic style:

Saad - Thank you. This shot is unusual in that I don't typically find so many different colored tubes grouped together.

Roger, that, Rog. I re-worded my statement above. Let me know if that makes better sense. I didn't like the wording previously.

Thanks, Dan. As you can probably see from my work, I'm really into using motion (especially camera motion) to make interesting and compelling images. Consider my manifesto:

It doesn't do well in thumbnail so it's not getting much attention. So it goes.

I think if you make a significant change like this in PS (or some other application) you are bound to lose some detail. That's the nature of the beast. But perhaps there is a method by which you could change the colors with a better loss ratio. Did you try just inverting the colors? That might be a good place to start. I don't know; I'm not that great at photomanipulation myself. I do mostly strait photography.

You did lose a little of the detail in the color conversion, but the purple version certainly is more evocative.
