Oh WOW I love the stillness of this place.
Up till now I didn't even see one little snowflake overhere, only lots of rain and wind.

I love your playful photos as much as your food objects. And I love your humor too.

Hi Del,

In this case the words were first, a challenge to write free verse on the poetry website I belong to. I was browsing through my poems the other day and found it again and then this photo I've made recently, popped into my head and I put them together. Most of the time it is the other way around, me writing to photos.

Well, I'll join you any time Del. Having said that I'm really getting an appetite, but as it is exactly 3.47 am here, I fear I have to wait till breakfast and go to bed first.

I like your experiments in baking though.

Or this?

Yes, I'm a very romantic person, who loves candle light and some of them are burning every night.

Drifting like the clouds in the sky
My soul's exploring the borders of my mind
But one day it will settle like the trees
And then my inner peace I'll find

Beautiful as always dear friend.

Hi Del,

All the Spider photos are taken in or around my house. As we live on a little farm there are lots and lots of spiders everywhere. This one came walking indoors on the wall.
They eat a lot of bugs and as long as they don't bother me, I let them be. Once a week I vacuum all the walls and ceilings, but the webs are back within a day or two. The webs in the barn I clean maybe once a year, but some of them are there for ages. I don't care. And then there's the big garden, lots of spiders there in Autumn.
This one was about 3 cm. (leg to leg) so they're really not that big and we don't have 'dangerous' spiders in The Netherlands.
I'm pleased you like my spider series, I like them too.

Creation was done by nature, I didn't do anything but capture the moment and I'm sure there are lots of spiders in them bushes.

Ha ha, because almost every spider you see wandering about is a 'she', because the male spiders are hardly seen, because after mating they're mostly eaten by their 'spouses'. The 'he's' maybe lucky one time, but not the next time. After mating she looks upon him as a delicious meal.

Hi Bruce,
This is a marvellous shot of that beautiful dragonfly.
I saw one this summer just like it and as it was exceptional because we normally don't have dragonflies that big overhere, I took a shot, but all came out very blurry alas.
Could this be one of the same species as yours?

Yes, it should have had more DOF and it should have been a bit sharper, but...you can't win them all, can you. I've still so much to learn about the techniques of photography and sometimes it just won't do what I want LOL

Hi Christian,

Cows are the most friendly animals and very curious. Don't be frightened by them, they don't even have teeth!!! (in front that is) and therefor not able to bite you. Put your hand in their mouth and they'll suck on it for ever and just say "Boooh" when they step on your toes.
Don't mix them up with bulls though, they're a different kind, but I gather you know the difference (smiling big here)

Maybe it's time to come over here and get aquainted, they're right there next to my backyard.

Thanks for your comments,

Titia

You never said goodbye to me
When you closed the curtains green
But I know that you are hiding
Behind that luminous screen

Suddenly I realized
You haven't been around
I hope my friend where ever you are
Fulfillment you have found

Thanks so much for sharing, you'r a lucky fellow to live in/nearby such a place.

Isn't it amazing, I can sit here at my desk and at the same time travell the whole world.
A double 7+ from me you get (if I could)
