cessy, nice to hear from you again.
you should buy a holga, they are VERY cheap! check out http://www.holgamods.com/
I was in your country today (for work, Zurich!) Unfortunately no time for photos, but it was cloudy and not a good view of the mountains!

And another, of course from me a proponent of the square image!
Just ideas, as I say, playing with white sheets of paper...

Hugo,
Just running out to catch a flight, so a quick and dirty. I know the blue line has an extreme effect on the crop, but I just made some small adjustments on this one. A little less water.

Now I see the source of that unique 'wierd' effect in your images!!

lovely shot, Thilo. I like the dislocated feeling and the patchwork effect of the stones. There is a subtle but strong effect cause by the tyre marks veering off into the direction of the exit. I think that is what creates that 'sucking' effect.
I just got my first Holga and am getting into it!

Hi George,
Great dramatic angle and lighting. I went to the same location a few years ago and was moved by the tranquility amongst the ruins..

Truly a magic light specimen, Hugo. The light and tones are breathtaking. I'm putting sheets of white paper against my monitor experimenting with different crops, I think you could get several equally lovely shots with different crops.

Hi Bea, just following up on this comment (better late than never!).
I recently took my rollei to an expert to have it reconditioned. he did a great job on it and now it works like a charm. they just need a little cleaning and oiling, but its rare for anything serious to fail if they have been properly taken care of. and you can get the filter set for cheap on ebay too!

Hi Enas,
I like your idea! Nice composition too. You got the exposture just right too, not always easy with film...
