I really must go to NZ some time... every photo I see of the landscape there looks wonderful! A bit like Scotland, but a bit different and exotic looking too... Have you ever been to Scotland?

If you push too hard, those rocks might come tumbling down on top of you Fantastic effects. Sometimes wonder if it can still be classed as a photo once its been changed and manipulated to such an extent tho! Still like it

Hi Pam,Whats wrong with these Use Flimers ?? no comments on this lovely classic landscape, such a perfect rainbow as well!!The only little change I may have made would be to crop a little off the forground to speed the passage into the lovely old building and of coarse the Rainbow. The soft painterly and textured effect work beautifully.Have a good day. Cheers Micky.

excellent job of using the setting light to elongate your subject matter. Good composition and balance with the bushes in the left and the mountains in the background right. Of course all that just serves as the back drop to the main course- the superbly light tree, and what looks like the moon.

Its apple time in NZ, and this image was taken two days ago. The apples were sweet and crunchy too as my co-photographer will verify.

Very moody landscape. The fires looked a lot different from this side of the pond, we had ash and embers floating around my house. Not quite the end of the world though

Thank you for your comments.
David, the head is not a digital creation. It is a glass head I found in a second hand shop, took home, stuffed with tissue paper to create the "brain" and shot from all angles using various lighting modes. The sky is just a sky from any old day, I dont recall, and the "ground" is created from a wall of glass bricks I found in a restroom in a small NZ town while travelling... of such things dreams are made.

Great image and so much work. The face is amazing. Is it pure digital or a composite of a real head thats been heavily digitised?
