Oh yeah! It gives really a summer relaxed feeling. Good tonality. I'd just put the dog in the diagonal of the image, I mean the whole boby of the dog, because I find this cut of the back part distubs a bit.

Hi Steven. I must say that this is not one of your finest pictures. The sky is badly overexposed and the birds are lost in the middle of nothing. It also seems just a little noisy. Bye,Luca PS: you have some nice picture with very few comments, I'll come back to your portfolio in the next few days.

Great cumulonimbus clouds, brings their danger right to the viewer. Reminds me of the song "Five miles out", when a pilot came into trouble due to severe weather.

Great composition, but unfortunatley a little dull in the colours. It would have been nice with a larger version, though it is hard to really see any details in this one. However... I like the photo. /Örjan

I wish you had made a comment on your intent with this photo. what was your gaol or your aim. For a macro of a cats eye, I would like to see the focus sharper with greater detail. The effect in the eye almost looks as if it was painted in. Best Regards, Sandra

It is certainly a charming landscape, even if the colours are pale and few saturated, a darker sky would have been beautiful, for instance using a polarizer filter, however the quality of the image is poor as it had been compressed strongly, it is a pity because the F707 is a good camera and produces very neat images. Bye Max

Hi, Steven!
We were recently in Utah, going north on 191 and we saw this too. Nice capture. Interesting story, too. My husband and I laughed together about this and wondered how the Feds had 'gotten away' with using this number in such a conservative state as Utah! Sounds like the ruckus has been raised!
Alice, the sign was on top of a rather tall post on the side of the road where the shoulder drops away. It would have been difficult to get a different backdrop besides sky. Clouds would have been nice, but I guess when you're traveling, you take what sky is presented at the time.

Puny indeed, Steven. You have a keen eye to compare, contrast and capture these two towers, present in the same place but in two different worlds. Fantastic.
