Yep, trees are watching us, ane can see wisdom in their eyes... nice tree portrait, reminds me of Tolkien's Ents.

I have a good friend, he teaches photography at the Art University. He told me never to capture flowers. He should see this amazing composition! Great shot, very sensitive, definitely a favorite.

This is a magic moment blessed by a magic light. The tranquility of the see and the smooth curves of the rocks are like a promise for the new live that is in front of her.

As for Croatia... I always wondered: is it just a Country or it is Heaven? Anyway, there is the only place I feel Home.

Excellent work, Ante!

Great composition... Maybe it seems transcendental for people not familiar with this corner of Europe, but it is very real, the personification of all the worries who join the woman - maybe in her way to some underpaid workplace.

Multumesc,

Nu stiu la cine te referi cind spui "sintem", dar ariciul a fost mesterit de un taran german. Iar ei sint intr-adevar rabdatori, doar cind e vorba de munca... altfel,nu prea au mai rabdat si acuma sint plecati, departe...

Thank you, for me the pot tree was a surprise too. It is part of the decoration of the Crossroads Inn garden, from that village. Great place, great people, great food :)

Excellent composition. Great use of the light sources four contouring the wrestlers who seem to experience an initiatic moment, when they have to chose between light and darkness. The lower left corner entrance to some underground adds a touch of mistery. You did not simply capture this moment, you just made this moment happen. Congratulations.

Thank you, indeed. The last time I heard this, was from an extraordinary american guy I've met in Croatia, his name is Jimmy and he is a great guitar/drums/harp/voice player.

Thank you very much, I'm impressed that you noticed my photo.
It was late in the night and the light given by a street lamp was beautiful, but unfortunately I was on the other side of the river so I could not come closer. I shoot from hand at max focal range (200) so it's a little bit shaked.

I hope I didn't offend you, but unfortunately I live in romania for 42 years, since I was born. And I really mean it when I say "unfortunately". And I can assure you that not all the people here who speak hungarian is really hungarian. My wife is hungarian, by consequence my daughter is half hungarian. I know a little bit about what is going on in romania. If you will do further research you may be suprised. But, I bet I know more about americans than you know about romania or its minorities.

OK, let's not argue, I like the photo and let's see the artistic part of it.

I'm happy that in this photo you mentioned that these are gipsies and not hungarians. Maybe for you americans it is the same, but gipsies are gipsies regardless the country they live in and the second language they speak.

Syrie,

I'm not a fan of romania, but I found the information you give about this phot completely false. This doesn't look like a hungarian family to me, ti rather looks like a gipsy family, which is not the same. Hungarians are working people, they live in rich and nice villages and I have a huge respect for them.

If I am wrong and if this is really a hungarian family, then it is an exception and is not at all representative for hungarians.

To be accurate, you also should mention the village where this photo was taken.

Anyway, what you did, is the purest americat way of superficially presenting facts.

Beside this notes, I like you interesting and rich in emotions portfolio.

Kind Regards
