The awesome and sometimes unbelievable beauty of nature can be captured. A lot of us hope to portray it and fall short in our attempts. Gene this is spectacular! You did what most us try to do. The colors, "texture" of the clouds and water, the reflections of light are inspiring! It proves it can be done...Well done!

Beautiful colors and perspective! The hull details showing the streaking and wear of the paint is great. The image itself looks painted! The late artist, Mr. Elton Louviere of Louisiana, painted a shrimp boat in the same vein as your image. Might check it out, you can see the similarity!

Outstanding Adam! A most beautifully composed and textured still life. It took me a while to figure out that the frame was just a frame and not a mirror! The toning is superb...reminds one of an old master's painting!

A very thought provoking image Barbara. The book is not totally destroyed so maybe there is hope it will survive, and continue to nurture the soul. The gritty texture and coloring make the imagery stand out even more. Congratulations on the double award!

Love seeing the "Cutty Sark" back after that terrible fire! It looks like it's back to it's old gracefulness and glory!

A truly beautiful landscape! Especially like the twisting of the trees and their almost stark appearance compared to the striking reds of the blooms...an apt title.."Coexistence"...fits well!

The moon shining through the clouds behind the silhouette of the trees really gives this an atmosphere that is hauntingly beautiful. Mysteriously beautiful would be the best description I could come up with. Nicely seen and given over to the camera's eye.
