Thank you for your coments. He's 16, and it's not his first time with Scar, if you ask how it was, he'll grunt and shrug his shoulders, or say "it was ok". He got some great footage.
...but at school..... "he's a rock star".

Actually it was a flash malfunction that gave me the light for both portraits. I was trying to light her right side and bounce fill with a gold reflector. Sadly the flash misfired and the results were better than i could have hoped for. She's sitting in a bedroom with a black cloth on the wall about 2m behind her.

Sanjeev, it is more commonly known as colour popping, and is quite easily achieved in Photoshop. Select: colour (select the one you want) Select: inverse Tools: adjustment/desaturate
If you want to do more than one colour then open different layers and do as you like then merge layers.

What a refreshing and eye-catching view of an otherwise mundane thing we almost never look at. Personally I think the leaves detract a little from the shadow which would otherwise be a dark curve receding to the background, but otherwise a really good image.
