Nice shadows, and an evocative array of shapes (jagged vs. curved vs. spray). The break in the "frame" lower and upper right is a little distracting though.

Very nice! I love the fact that you can't see the road behind him, makes you assume it's a straight road that goes back forever. Great composition and great subject; even the clouds seem to radiate from him.

Beautiful picture of a beautiful subject. The Mona Lisa smile and the amazing eyes hold you, an almost surreal mix of innocence and wisdom?

Great composition, love the large leaf at top, adds depth. Wish it were a crisper focus though.

The juxtaposition of the gentle vertical water curve against the horizontal rock strata curve is very handsome; I wish the tendril of water off to the right weren't there, it really stands out to me.

The angle in the window and frame is nice, belies the smoothness of the curves in Ruby. Longing, wistful, or just watching? Well done.

Great colors, and the burst of light color at lower left is nicely placed, balances the solemnity of the piece with an uplift.

Very rich and romantic...I'd almost rather have the red border closed at the bottom and not see the stem at all. The mystic in me...

Very nicely done, the mirror image is a plus. I'm so fond of the arrangement on the top half that I wish the bottom weren't reversed vertically.

Amazing! Great composition and lighting, and the streaks of cloud seem to cause a "grain" in the sky perpendicular to the grain in the planks. Is this an infrared shot?

Great composition, beautiful smile. Would love to see a color version to see the color of the top and trim, but this is fine. Great eye-area shadowing.

Wow. Innocence in the wake of destruction. After seeing so many pictures of distraught children in the same situation, the somewhat casual smiling face is both reassuring and disquieting. Very interesting shot.

Very nice composition and lighting variants...a beautiful shot. The bottom left adds folksy warmth, without it would still have been a great dramatic shot too.
