Breathtaking, Michael!
You and Julian are my heros! :-) I just saw your amazing new "Masterclass" book this weekend; my 17-year-old son and I looked at it together at our local Barnes & Noble over coffee (for me) and latte (for him :-) We were both knocked out by the beautiful photos as well as their instructional value and the excellent accompanying text.
I've stared dropping hints about how nice it would be to get a copy of your book for Fathers' Day....
Thank you both for setting a great example for all of us, and thanks for sharing your photos with us on Usefilm.com
Best regards, SteveR

Peta,
A beautiful photo in every way. I had to stop and wipe the tears from my eyes.
I often find myself saying, "...grandma would be smiling..." as well, when our family is all together.
Thanks you for sharing this with us.

This is really beautiful, Gayle. Yes, I see the 3 distinct patterns - the upper area of "smoother" ripples, the grasses, and the lower area of "choppy" ripples - it's amazing how you got this little microscosm - so much going on in such a small space. I really like the way the upper and lower water parts are separated nicely by the grasses. Most people would never notice the difference between the two parts, but you captured it so well.
Best regards, SteveR
P.S. - I think your choice of sticking with color instead of B&W was a good one for this image.
