This is marvelous, John. I always wonder how birds let you come that close, or is it your being fast on the draw? Whenever I try to point, even with a 300mm lens, the tiny bandits are long gone. very good focus & lighting. Happy to see you too & thank you so much for your kind comment. Rafi By the way, I don't mind the left coloumn. I think it harmonizes the composition.

I can see no trace of P.S. work. dear Marilyn, which seems to mean that it was done perfectly. The result must have been very good to begin with, the kid sillhuetted by the flame & taking many shots is what I also often do. Someone once said that if something is worth taking a photo of, it's worth taking several. Thank you for your very kind comment on my "UFOs." Best regards, Rafi

Excellent photo of a very sad situation, Paul. th way you captured the old woman's face says it all and the choice of B&W accentuates the bleakness she sees har future. Thank you for your kind remark about my "Violet hibiscus, detail." What a contrast between your photo and mine... Best regards, Rafi

Excedllent colors and composition. Setting the church in the arch, but a little to the right maskes for the beautiful composition. Thank you for your kind remark on my "rainbow in Tel Aviv". Best regards, Rafi

Usually when I meet a person for the first time on the pages of Usefilm, I comment on the first photo I see, the last one that person uploaded. Your "To the side", however, took me by storm, Ms. Uribe as it were. I found that I was unable to resist it. Hiding and showing at the same time, the Eros in this photo shouts silently but mainly clear. You write in your bio that you want to learn from comment to your photo. I don't think you can learn anything from my comment to this photo except that it could not be better. You show a photo of your face on your front page. I thimk it only fair that you see my face too. It can be found at www.drspringmann.com, side by side with some information concerning a book I recently published. The latter might or might not be of interest to you. Having seen "To the side" and your other photos, I feel that your comment on my "The green collar" carries more weight than a regular comment. I feel honored by and thank you for it. Regards, DR. Rafael (Rafi) Springmann
