Love this one as well...such beauty in both the image and child. I also love how so many of your images are filled with gorgeous light and fine details...reminds me of Carlos' work, but still very much your own.

Hey Janet...long time. Now I know what the B stands for...BOMB...'cause you're da' bomb taking pics, haha. =P I love the mood of this picture...it's misterious...and the sepia-like tone adds to that. I also like how you framed it so the fences guide the eyes to the center.Good stuff. I've gotten way better but nowhere near as you. Keep kicking some photo booty. =D

Hi Janet,
Okay, so it's not the season, but I just had to say what a great idea this was for a card!
The concept reminds me of those old Beatle's movies (A Hard Day's Night and Help) made by Richard Lester. At the time, in the early to mid 60's that kind of "goofy/manic" posing with props like your door was such a fresh new thing in film. The style was soon picked up and copied by so many directors of TV shows and films that it became a part of the 60's culture.
You managed to make it fresh all over again!
I'm a little late seeing it, but I'm glad I did!
