Excellent capture, Pierre. I was able to watch the shower while out doing night photos but not lucky enough to capture any. This is an outstanding photograph and one you should be proud of... you are right, it is like fishing.

Incredible detail. I can almost see the motion of his legs and the web being constructed. It always amazing me how spiders do build these fragile, yet strong webs. Terrific shot. I don't know what kind of spider this is.

It was a fun challenge to try out some astrophotography... and I'm looking forward to doing more this season!

I only wished I had seen this fireball ( I was asleep while the camera was dutifully doing its work :0)
This year's Perseids should be much better, with dark skies and no interfering Moon on August 12 !!!
