Hi Peter, as stand alone, I think this one would qualify as best. But that's only me. I do like the combination of the guiness bottles and the gambling chips. Booze and poker.... Excellent theme (again / still / redundantly)

Cheers,

Hugo

Hi Peter, as I mentioned in my previous comment, each of these shots as stand alone have less impact as all three of them together. I think that's the key feature of a successful triptych. Very well done....

One small nitpick, this photo, even in the large panoramic view, seems a bit soft on focus.

Cheers,

Hugo

Hi Peter, Great series, with a very consistent tonal range, and a very well executed theme. Of the three, I think this is probably the weakest photo, as IMO, the composition is a bit split between the two bottles left and right, whereas the other two have a more harmonious placement of the primary subjects. Yet in light of the total series, with the two images flanking this one, it fits very well.

I think this image shouldn't be assessed as a stand alone.... I'll now have to go over the first and the third one more thoroughly.

Cheers,

Hugo

Very good colors in this image. You managed the harsh light very well. I like that you included the man in this shot, adds the human touch.

Thanks for the comments ... one reason it isn't as sharp as it could be is because I shot this through a window ... I know its a photographic no no, but at that moment I wanted the shot

Bird is not the easiest thing to shoot, but for this one i think u capture the perfect moment. surly the image can be shaper, but i love the way it is as the blurly give the mood to the photograph. very lovly photo

A super shot of what looks like an incredibly sweet dog. Or is he plotting Prince's overthrow? :>)

A nice, clear cat photo. Personally, I think it would enhance it to crop a bit off the top and left. That really is a personal matter, as the photo is fine as it is. My other suggestion is to wear steel-toed boots.

Wow! The place looks bleak and forbidding. Not to mention very cold. I think you've succeeded in exemplifying the title.

i love the effect on the sky, but i would like to see the whole tree in there rather than just the top. IT makes you feel like theres just a little something missing.

The colors are what drew me to this picture. Having the bird just give that extra interest. Great work.

The water was actually very choppy ... with the long exposure it smoothed out, almost like glass

However the water moving also caused the shoreline to distort slightly.

It was overcast (snowstorm approaching) and there was a sodium light behind me... this caused the orange and purple contrast

I just set my camera on a level rock, set it on manual mode and manual shutter ... took my remote ... opened the shutter walked around for a while came back and closed the shutter... and voila
