Hi Roger,
They only sacrifice llamas now, but I think your idea to revive old traditions is excellent!

Fast-forward to June 21, Inti Raymi:

"Stop kicking and screaming, Roger, and keep your hands off the ceremonial virgins! It won't hurt. Well, just a little bit, but it will be over soon.

Remember, if we don't kill you, read the future from your guts, and burn what's left of you in the sacred fire, Inti won't give us light and we can kiss our coca crop goodbye."

I'll go drink some chicha now : )

Was that the god that liked human sacrifice? This face looks more funny than threatening. But I guess it looks different when you're tied to the altar...

Er thanks Diabo but I'd rather not freeze my ar*e off!!! The mine is bigger than yours and assocated protuberance game is fun while the money lasts but to be honest I had just as much fun with my Nikon E880 from 2 years ago... (bigger protuberances just mean I can be lazy and not walk closer to things).
Great image with the snow white contrasting beautifully with the red of the chair...

Good serendipity on your use of an old photo in this way.

The original photo is nice, the doomsday prophet seeming tired of his task.

Interesting handle you have... the Portuguese word for "devil".

Well, at least the pic with the poster is still here. This pic ( http://www.usefilm.com/image/686429.html ) disappeared completely. How can anybody be offended by a picture of a 100% legal demonstration?

Two kids in London expressing their opinion. It's scary when opinions different from your own can be silenced by calling them 'offensive.'

Summer 2004: Two kids in London protesting against the invasion of Iraq while the guard looks away.

I read the FAQ. It doesn't say that pictures of protests are not allowed.

I guess you refer to part 1.5 of the FAQ.
The image does not contain nudity and is not obtained illegally.
This leaves 'offensive.' The picture records an event. The people on the pic express an opinion which may be different from your own, but that does not make a picture 'offensive.'
