Dear Reza,
If I give a critique on your photo, it's because your photo does interest me (and you put it in the Critique Corner).
What appeals to me is:
the general composition and the B&W soft contrasts with much detail as well as the tree silhouettes (as focus?).
What, in my opinion at least, could be even better is:
to choose if the sky (my favorite) or the foreground should be the one that leads me to the focus,
and about focus, what is the real focus? those tree silhouettes or the bigger mountain far away.
That is not very clear to me, because of, I think, some lack of contrast in sharpness between focus and surrounding space and because a focus should be quite unique (ok for the mountain, not ok for the trees).
But above all, I repeat, your capture captured me and I like it.
Hope all that does interest you.
best regards, Jan

Thanks for your comment, Carla. This is relatively close to the Pecos Falls area. We had a great winter last year so this area was very lush.

Reza, great midnight shot. What part of the Pecos is that? It doesn't look quite as dry as the last time I saw it.

Very nice colors, dof and clarity. My only suggestion would of been to go to the 28mm end of the lens (you may of been there ;-) and get down real low perhaps filling the lens with a little more of the foreground flower and at the same time capturing the tops of the pines in the distance. Dwight

Very nice capture! I like your choice of F-stop although it does make the image a little on the flat side. The focus was on the water - so very well done.

Excellent photograph of one person not being intimidated by a bunch of circus clowns holding up their signs of hate. Surprising to see young people with that mind set.

Hi Reza, wonderful simplicity in this photo. Excellent exposure and color, kind of a surreal feel to the clouds. I haven't been on UF for awhile, but your previous photos made me logon and look yours up first. Thanks for the inspiration.

I remember when that happened... I wish and hope for the worst on that group of halfwits. Apparently what they do is go piss off a bunch of people, start a fight and then sue for the injuries. Pretty repectable, huh.

Hello Reza, the luminaries indeed are plesant to look @ & like how you composed the image. I'm not certain if the soft look was the intention but I'd like to point out the camera shake as evident in the foreground, it's what usually happens when low light shots are taken handheld. Mount the camera on a tripod with a cable release attached or timer activated for a much sharper image, other than that a good composition. Thanks much for the recent comment & best wishes.
