How are you, dear friend? I'm still around, going to be 84 next month, but as someone already told me, that's just a number. My email address is unchanged.
Warm regards,
Rafi

My dear, dear friend Heifetz,
I see that you have no new photos posted either. Unfortunately I must tell you that my wife, Rachel, has contracted lung cancer & has to undergo all kinds of chemotherapy. This makes her very weak & me very sad, because the prognosis is not too good. Are you & your G.F. already married?
All my best wishes to you, wherever you are & thanks for thinking of me & commenting on my photo.
Your friend,
Rafi

Two corrections:
For "misical" please read "musical"
Please add the words "even more" after the words "my photo."
Typing errors....
My best again,
Rafi

My dear friend Heifetz, I looked at your blog & want to tell you that you play the camera as if it were a misical instrument, in fact more than one, at least a quartet. Even more than that, I think that by now you are a composer. It is perhaps just as well that I was unable to read the characters (they all came out ?????????????? on my computer) because this enabled me to concetrate solely on your unbelievably dreamlike photos.
All this makes me appreciate your comment on my photo. My very best to G.F. & you,
Rafi
By the way, when I was in Hong-Kong & was given the little horse statue, my name was spelled Lafael

I think this is your usual, symbolic, tasteful way of showing your disgust with lifeless, feeling-less pornography. If so, you've been very successful.
As you may have seen, some commentators were not pleased with my leaving the date on my photo "Glow." Now I'm happy I left it on. I was age 54 when I took it & you were just born & yet we find so much of a common language. Thank you for commenting on it.
Best regards, my dear friend Heifetz,

Your photos are always worth waiting for, my dear friend Heifetz. This one has specific symbolic meaning for me. Not only do I yearn for peace, but if you look at the map you took the photo of, you'll see Charlottenburg. I was born there. (1930.)
Thank you for your kind comments on my recent photos.
Best regards,
Rafi

I'm waiting for your next absolutely wonderful, perfect photo, my dear friend Heifetz. Thank you for your comments on my photos.
Unfortunately I can't entirely agree with you opinion about weapon supply, because those who supply Hezbolah with weapons are Iran via Syria.
Here is something I received on the internet & I think it's true:
Regardless of your feelings about the crisis between Israel and the Palestinians and Arab neighbors,
even if you believe there is more culpability on Israel's part for whatever reason,
the following two sentences really say it all:
If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence.
If the Jews (Israelis) put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel
Best regards,
Rafi

This photo definitely deserves a second comment. I also put it among my favorites.
Thank you, my dear friend Heifetz, for your comment & for asking about me. Personally we're OK. I don't know if you're aware of the meaning of what we are at the moment doing in Lebanon & why it's so universally important, for the whole Middle East & perhaps even more. If you want to, I'll write to you in greater detail.
Best regards,
Rafi
