Keith.. I agree with the higher elevation as well... In this shot here I was between private property but the owner let me at this spot as I talked to him... like alot of places, I'm sure u agree, some folks don't take too kindly to outsiders. I do appreciate ur input Ty Vm!.

Tom,
one minor comment - I think a slightly higher viewpoint might have allowed the boats to sit in clear water, with a bit of space around them. The low angle here just squeezes them a little and makes them 'interfere' with each other. I've been reading a few articles recently which try to explain that boats, vehicles, people, trees etc should be easily distinguishable and not overlap, and I think this is a good rule of thumb.
I do like the shot however, well toned and very clear.
