i think your absolutely right, the ageless lens + blur create a nastalgic perspective that is very turn of the century + rural. they allow any toolbag to create an interesting image.

the images are from a dry darkroom, ie....photoshop scans and tone. much more consistent than toning individually.

way cool! do you scan from prints? your tones are really nice. my diana has a horrible light leak, which is why it doesn't get out much, maybe need to tape it up good and tight and try again.
