Great image of my beloved Giewont, the Giant who still sleeps under the sun...and storms :)
I was there 3 years ago, in Giewont peak itself, and this image brings me good memories :)

True, you did :) I must have been away from here for a while, I guess ;)
I could not really move my position, as I was sitting on the beach, and trying to be as discreet as possible - she was talking to those people, not sure they would have been happy to see me taking the picture!
And I see the horizon is leaning to the left as well - hope the see doesn't flow out! lol

That's a funny shot, Irena! The nun looks superimposed on the water, as though she is floating above it. I wish you had stepped just a little to the right so that those other bathers weren't visible behind her. But this is very amusing in its incongruity.

Piekne ujecie,sliczne kolory,ktore dodaja atmosfery lekkiej grozy i tajemnicy.Magiczna chwila po prostu...Swietna kompozycja.Kominy z tylu przywoluja jakby do rzeczywistosci,ale sa "wpasowane" do calosci.

We last met on these pages in 2004, when I still thought that comments were limited to 120 K. Now I know that it's the attachment that's limited, so you can teach an old horse new tricks. These's no way to limit a comment on this lovely photo to 120k. It's a beauty, especially when found on the ground, where few poeple would look for it.
Please forgive me for being late in responding to your very kind comment on my "Waves on water." That photo was taken in Uruguay & we were told that in that country everything is done "eventually", so ever since coming back from there I live in a sort of slow motion. As a token of asking your forgiveness, I attach a flower.
