the juxtaposition of the wheel and the column is nice, but the mirror part is a bit over.. hurts the eyes. overall good picture.. if you can build on the humor factor, it will get more interesting I guess.

Many thanks for your reply Soumya. I will try to heed your advise about shooting RAW although I am no good with softwares. Again, I am bit unsure here, when I notice that your image information lists File Format = Digital JPEG. Does that mean you shot this image in JPEG and not in RAW? I am not good at working with softwares so please excuse me asking some basic questions. Regards.

Yes, I use blending techniques to process photos with very differential exposure. We see more dynamic range than our cameras can see. Hence, we need to process our RAW files in such a way that the photograph matches to what I saw while clicking.
K7 is a brilliant camera and it's output is very good. I would advise to shoot RAW and use proper RAW processing workflow to extract maximum dynamic range out of your photos.

I am a true admirer of your work Soumya. Some of your images from rural Bengal mesmerizes me, specially the ones which are in your PPG gallery. After reading that you have blended two exposures and also did some touching in Photoshop to produce this image, I couldn't stop myself from writing to you. I always thought that most of your images are straight from the camera without any enhancements and I get frustrated with the output from my Pentax K7 and 18-55mm AL II and other lenses, i,e, most of the time. Now I am not very sure and confused whether the same is due to the weakness of the sensor of K7. I would love to believe that it is possible to produce Lovely and moving images without photoshop or any other such softwares. May I request you to please throw some light...I will highly appreciate....Thank you.
