The frame is rectangle.low contrast and brown colour has made a calm space.single chair in the right corner attract our attention.the photo has taken from down out ward.the left side of photo shows that it has taken with a wide lense.the left side is fade and light side is clear,so the space has divided to 2 section.the focuse is on the chair and open diafragm has caused that chair be clear and other things be fade vertical lins shows standing and life.empty room shows now one donot live in this home.

Blak sign in the side of animal body is the sign of animal dead.using blue contrast and sharp picture show unflexibility, fish out of water is the sign of freedom.
Silence feeling and the lack of movement shows that fish has accepted to die. The lack of prespective for showing larg animal head.donot need special back ground.

Jean-François -- Very nice image! Great control in it's capture and outstanding work in it's post processing. I like the subtle contrasts in color and the deep, dark tones that keep the eyes from straying too far from the subject. Well done.

Cheers,
-Mike.

Very nice Jean-Francois . . . I would consider a tighter right-side crop to eliminate some of the negative space. This would also help to pull the eye in to your subject by providing a strong left side diagonal but leaving the tension by not balancing it on the right side! I like this . . . just some things for you to consider! :)

Doyle I <~~~~~

Very nice portrait. I think that the choice of the working environment is crucial since this characterises the person, being a part of his life.
Well done,
Michalis

She has nice eyes but for me the depth of field is to shallow. I would prefer the eyes through to the chin to all be in focus.

Despite the fact that some may see a fork as a boring subject, I find this picture wonderful and very captivating. The sharpness captured in the image is wonderful and the vibrant colours are spectacular. As I look down through the random pictures usefilm put at the side of the page, i think that you have a great profile. I love it when people recontextualise photography, instead of just doing the same things all the time. Your pictures and portfolio are great! Well done!
