Squirrels! The bane of my existence! I can hardly feed the birds around here because of the squirrels.
Very nice shot, btw. What's that up its nose?

Terrific! Are you familiar with Wagner's opera "Das Rheingold"? Your photo makes me think of the scene in Nibelheim, the lower world where the evil Alberich forces other Nibelungians to mine gold for him.

This is a beauty. It makes me think of some of the details from paintings by the Dutch masters, like Breughel and Bosch.
Congrats on the award. Well done!

I love this photo, too, Shirley. All I can say is 'AHA! You had Klimt in the back of your mind.' Not a bad thing at all!

A striking portrait with great tones, Shirley. Were you inspired by Gustav Klimt?

What I like about the desaturation here is that the undesaturated people present the effect of additional stained glass on the floor. The new mimicking the old. Congratulations on your award.

Nicely atmospheric shot, Ann. I would think twice, too, about jumping into green surf like that. Well done! And congratulations on your award.

I love the subject and the composition, Edward. The depth and clarity are terrific. Personally, I would like to see a bit more contrast so that the water, especially, doesn't look quite so washed out. Below is an example of what I mean. I just used the brightness/contrast setting to tweak things a very little.
Great work. And lucky you getting to Antarctica. Well done!

This is a lovely shot of a lovely dancer, Dan. The composition and tones are very nice. What doesn't work for me is what I consider excessive graininess. This gives the model the appearance of being encased in sandpaper. I like graininess, so I would just suggest toning it down a bit.
Otherwise, it's a fine portrait.

Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! Aside from being an amazing capture, the tones, colors, and composition are outstanding. It's like a painting. Did you use a painting filter of some sort to achieve some of your effects?
Wonderful work! Wojtech, your entire horse portfolio is as good or better than any I've ever seen.

Thank you for your kind comment about my recent upload, Amin. It was good because it led me to look at your wonderful portfolio. This photo, for example, is fantastic, a great way to honor an artist. The lighting and colors are superb.
