Thanks Len, yes that's where the flash hit it. Hubby said he liked that "sparkle" in the eye, but I think I'm with you - it is a bit strange. Thanks for mentioning it. I can easily fix that. Have a wonderful day and thanks for the visit! :-)

Your interpretation of this scene is glorious, John! Past 2 winters, I've stayed a few days in Cape May, but never managed to get up early enough to capture a sunset on the beach (or is it called "shore" on the east coast? ;-) ) You've inspired me though, with your many wonderful sunrise images - perhaps this winter I might work hard to get out of my warm bed early! :-)

Wow John, I've not been here in some time, and I see you haven't been here - today I came, and wow, what a do I find... such a marvelous butterfly image from you. Excellent work, my friend... I too, just uploaded a similar Swallowtail Butterfly... they were out in full force last weekend. By the way, I no longer live in California... moved to S.E. PA (upper Bucks Co) Jan 2010 and I must say it is sure pretty around here... lots of photo ops! Hope to see more from you in the future! :-)

Oh wow, this is just such a stunning image, nice focus, lighting and very lovely dew drops... and in my humble opinion, I think it would be even better if you cropped it tighter to just the tops of the petals leaving out the top 25%. Very, very nice job though, Armando! Congratulations!

Awww thanks for the kind words Riny - I'm happy to see you are still here. My day is going great so far - I just ordered a camera body upgrade - going from the Canon Rebel XTi, to the T2i.... this is a huge upgrade for me and offers 80% more image detail... I am so excited!! I was born in Germany, but I've not been back since I was very very young. Maybe someday... you have a great day too! :-)

Stunning and excellent contrast between the sunny happy sunflowers and the steel blue sky! Gorgeous! Nice pattern too, in the rows of trees.

Yeah, it's a very very nice image - does not seem to be as many people commenting like there was when I was more active here - that's a shame because that is one of thing things that made this site so nice.

Sure, Greg, if it's not too much trouble. I happen to love tulips and have never seen one like this before. BTW, where do you get all your floral subjects from? Do you visit a botanical garden, work at a florist shop, or are these in your own garden? You always have the best fresh flowers! :-)
