With all the textures and being monochrome, this would work wonderfully as a black and white image.

Nice. It has a cool "Audubon" feel to it.

Very nice composition and exposure. Watch for the tilt in photos with vertical elements and horizons.

Thanks José and Clay. There was no one there when I shot this. This is straight out of the camera. I developed the BW film and then scanned the negative. I no longer shoot film and I shoot only digital now.

Nice image. Composition works. May be a little less depth of field to blur the background leaves a bit more so the bud really stands out.

Thanks Phil. No idea. I could only hope but it's surrounded by a fence with big no trespassing signs. I would love to find out...

Wonderful image but I feel that a square crop to eliminate the tree on the left and the dark angle in the right corner, would really make this image awesome.

Nice photo but I feel the fence dominates the image and pulls my attention away from the train.

Nice portrait. Lighting looks nice. You should crop it vertical to eliminate the wasted space on the side.

I loved shooting nightshots in Balboa Park when I lived there. I think a right crop to eliminate the palm tree would make this a stronger image. A square format would work well here. Very nice exposure and angle.

Very nice Dave. Nice to see some new stuff from you. I hope to start shooting again when I move to New Mexico, next weekend. Since Terrence is there too, we'll have to go tear the place up.
