Nice shot Ian. The location works well. This is a good capture as it is not an obvious shot and you had to explore a little to find it. Great atmosphere.

Thanks for your comments. Yes I do know Ian Cameron. He is a good friend and I have learned so much from his vast experience. He was standing only a few feet away when I took this shot. He uses medium format whilst I opt for 35mm and digital.

Thank you for your comments. I really like the 3D effect in this shot. I also like the way it shows that Scotland is not purely about big mountainous landscapes (although they are tremendous!).
Thanks for taking the time to view,
Thomas.

Lovely shot from top to toe Ian. The clouds are amazing, the hills in the backdrop and the colour and pattern in the sand are nice also.

Lovely shot Ian. A real cracker. I love the way the horizontal lines in the rock, background and sky all come together.

This is a lovely presented shot full of atmosphere from the low clouds to the mist on the lake. I also love the light thats catching the white on the boat.

Lovely colours. The green in the island really makes the shot otherwise it may have been overkill of blue. Your shots of this castle are very impressive.

Hi Ian,

I just saw this on your website (www.transientlight.co.uk) and thought it was stunning. The colours of the Rhodedendron bushes are very impressive. Speak soon.

I like the colour in the sky in this shot. I think it may work just aswell cropped with half sea and half sky. I think the bird is slightly distracting and takes the eye away from the beuatiful sunset/sunrise.

Hi Ian,

This place is stunning. I have seen it a few times recently and it never seems to disapoint.
The fg detail makes this shot more interesting.

Thanks PAT for your comments. I have just started out in the world of photography and I welcome all help and advice.

Unfortunately I do not have any filters other than a circ. polariser. I even have to borrow a tripod or as in the case of this shot, take it hand held. I am in the process of getting around to purchasing ND Grad filters and a tripod although due to a pending wedding (4th June) that has to take a back seat for the mo.

Your modified shot looks good. Thanks once again,
Thomas.
