Nope! Just one mirror. I find it's the easiest way to take self portraits. Although, now that you point it out, the camera angle is a bit odd. I wonder how that happened?

I have to admit I'm a little scared to use flash because it has ruined so many of my pictures in the past. Eeek.
I'm not sure what you mean by "wide open"?
I was using my cheap lens because it's light so I agree that the dof could be deeper but there wasn't much I could do with that lens.

Hey Mark, I'm back. At least for the summer. I have some new lenses (macro and super macro) that I'll be experimenting with during the summer. I'm also going to have some film pictures up as soon as scan my negatives onto my computer.
It's good to be back.

I used a super macro lens for this shot. I also shot it during the day and then converted it to black and white in photoshop.
Congrats on your new camera! I've heard good things about the Canon 30D.
Okay, I have a confession...I don't mess around with shutter/aperature. I just fiddle with the knobs on my camera until the picture comes out right.
