Fantastic shot and fantastic portfolio. I note your "about" regarding the grainy'iness' and must say that I really like it that way - adds a lot of character/mood to the image. Love the composition as well. One would expect the cathedral to be the focus, yet the cobble stone all leading towards all lead your eye to a different side of the image and the nuns in white play a central role in that...

As I've said - I love your portfolio - had a look through a number of your shots - love their variety and originality, whether it would be on your self-portraits or your metro/transit shots.

Fantastic!!!! The lighting and coposition is perfect and the detail on both the reflection and the actual boy could nto have been any better.

Simply stunning!!! Perfect timing, fantastic crop and colors. And I wouldn't just be thinking of going in, I would probably be running the other way.

Dramatic yet disturbing. As great as yoru work on this image is, I cannot seem to look at it for any length of time. I must agree with Katy - this shot definitely could give someone nightmares.

Quite the painting ;). Great creativity on the HDR work. Reminds me of all the sketches/paintings that you can buy when strolling through Paris, Barcelona or any of the main European cities. This image just seems to have that kind of feel to it. The WB code in the upper left corner is an unfortunate distraction.

Again - fantastic work!!

Stunning shot! Love the hue to the image - just adds so much more atmosphere. Not sure if it's jsut me, but it seems to be a bit off horizontal...

Congrats!

Reminds me of a scene from the Lord of the Rings movie - as Frodo is walking on the forest road out of the Shire.

Good image. I agree however that the tree on the left is a bit of a distraction and that the exposure could have been decreased a bit to prevent the blown out background.

Fantasitc shot - only criticism is that I wish you had captured the tops of the mountains on the left. Or in the alternative I would crop it a tad bit lower to try to eliminate the couple spaces of sky on the left. The focus that way would be on the reflection rather and the fisherman rather than pulling the eye away towards the cut off mountains.

On a different note - those birds are insane - the fact that they can be trained to do the "fishing" for the fisherman...

Wow!!! What a capture. That sure put a smile on my face when I opened it up. He sure must love to swim. My dog would stand on the side of the pool, poke his nose in maybe, deliberate, maybe try a paw and then walk away.

Fantastic execution, perfect timing, perfect angle. Just a great image overall.

Fantastyczne zdjecie!!!! Perfectly executed. I keep on coming back to it over and over - every time wanting to know more about the person to whom the hand belongs, wondering what their face looks like, what their life must have been like. Amazing work.

Interesting composition - love the contrast between the curves, the straight lines and finally the random shapes of the clouds in the back. Based on the lamp posts it seems that the image does maintain the horizontal, however, the way that the brige tower leans to the right it creates the illusion that the image itself isn't horizontal. My recommendation would be to rotate it a bit to the left to counteract that feel. I'd be also currious to see how it looked in color - I think that the blue sky could potentially add to the image.

Well your POD was definitly an improvement on this shot. This one absolutely doesn't work - it's oversatured - the flower seems to be almost glowing in parts, there is no real focus to the image and the cutting is just horrible.

Sorry - but that's MHO.

It's an eye catching image - when you see the thumbnail you want to click on it and see what it is. As a geometrical abstract I think it would be neat, however, it doesn't do the flower any justice, and whether it is lack of time or lack of knowledge, the PS work is in my opinion sloppy and detracts from the image.
