The color contrast makes this composition a stand out, even in a small preview window to full sized. I bet the detail is outstandding.

Hey, thanks lisa.

This is one of the original shots posted to usefilm. since then, I've had a show, improved a bit, moved to Denver, got my first home, etc... so much has changed in the last 5 years but my return to photography began again with this shot and my first digital - that D70.

Hi Hugo...

In this photo I am in Norfolk, Nebraska, USA.
But now I live in the Denver area of Colorado, USA.

Been working on my first house that we bought in March. Moved in April. I also made a transition to Flickr during that time and I am tracking mostly home improvement items there. I have a few hiking shots.

Still using google mail if you have the inclination.

I still can't figure out how you make these photo illustrations. I'd recognize one anywhere at this point, but couldn't tell anyone how to even create one...

Yaaaaaaaaay!!! Todd Miller posts!

Always love the austere and clean geometry of your shots. hopefully the title is not indicative of your photography.

I've moved on to Flickr - but I still stop by just for folks like you.

Hi Doyle:

Thanks - Haven't been taking that many photographs as I have been looking for and just bought my first house. Bear with me as I move in and do a lot of improvements. I'm pushing all of the home improvement work on Flickr.

You might want to post or crop the winter scene with snow alongside this one for visual comparison - both are beautiful and together they'd be quite a powerful pair.

This is another winner - I noticed that PT Gui also managed to handle the grad filter - most of the packages out there fail fairly miserably when coming up against grad filters. Simply amazing. By now you are probably stitching portrait shots across the landscapes. Once you get hooked you won't stop.

I also think the newest PT Gui handles HDR - so if you are so inclined to shoot multiple exposures it'll do some interesting things. Theoretically.

Hi Tim:

PT Gui is an amazing tool, and I'm glad to see that your stitch turned out amazing. I've had a lot of luck printing with ezprints online - they may ship to Canada. If not, send the print to me and I'll keep it for "safe keeping".
