Buonissimo lavoro.

Ma ritaglierei un pezzetto a sinistra.

Hi !

Thanks for your comment.

I know, for the glare. But I never use any filter.
I'm sure it was at 1.8, but the speed was maybe slightly slower. Maybe 1/10s : I was working with a positive 100 iso roll and it was really dark.

Actually, almost all the pictures of that serie are taken between 1/15 ans 1s...

Cheers.

S.

Many thanks to you for all those so kind compliments.
Bahadir, the fact is that web page is not "mine", It's just a web page that tells that I've won a prize with that work.

But maybe you should tell it to "itisphoto"'s webmaster. ;-)
Cheers.
Sebastien.

Very, VERY good.

BUT. ('cause there's a "but")

But I'd have loved so much that you'd shot a bit lower, in order to cut the car just under the bumper.

Choosing such a frame was very risky business.

BUT, and it's why you picture is so good, here, it works perfectly. Without the factory's silhouette, your picture was a haïku. With it, it is "simply" a poem.

If I should add music to this image, for sure I'd choose the 30 first seconds of Sibelius' concerto for violin.

I hate me not knowing english better : I can't express all I'd like.

But I think the main lines, you'll have understood : This picture is very good.

Cheers,

Sébastien.

Just remembered this picture and what I had said.

I confirm : equilibrating the light between fore and background makes it a wonderful picture.

It could nearly be part of Depardon's work over asylums.

Cheers.

Powerful image with a wonderful composition.

I just wonder if it wouldn't be better if you post-treated it a bit more in order to equilibrate the grays betweek fore and background...

But still really good.

Cheers,

Sébastien.

Lucas, in the United States, you MUST be able to find such architectural ambients. It's here, in Europe, that it's hard to find, believe me... ;-)

But I keep on searching...

Thank you and Kevin for the comments.

Just like patrick.

I don't think that Avedon would have made this wonderful picture. ;-)

A small error that will be corrected soon, I hope, as it really wastes my pleasure. (I will never be totally amazed by this picture as long as it will be in this category as it is the only imperfection of the shoot...)

;-)

Regards,

Seb.

Actually, I don't know how to say it proprerly in english. This demonstration of students has as goal to ask to the minister of education to allow more money for high schools.
Thanks for your comment.

Thanks for your comments.

The grian is caused by the auto resize of Usefilm. It isn't as coarse on this version you can see here.

Michele. I colori sono precisamente cosi sulla pellicola. Li lasciero dunque cosi. (anche se accetto pienamente il tuo commento)

Peter.

Bien cordialement,

Sébastien.

OH YES! I almost get to cry when I see the perfection of "argentic squares" (MF films) and when I think that they will be soon replaced by pixels without any soul. Please, go on letting us see our beautiful world through the small squared window of your heart. Please.

Wonderful Dlochrysa fastuosa Scop. (yes, it's a barbarian name but it's the only one it has...) ;-)

Just regret that the second antenna is completely blurred...

First of all, many thanks for the BIP award.

To answer your question, Neil, actually, I saw this man coming from about 50 meters and I immediately saw the contrast. So I just focused on the poster and waited (not long, I think 1 or 2 secs, that's why the foot is a bit cut.) discretely the right moment... Everything went so fast. I never saw this man again.

I'm far from being gay but I think this man is REALLY gorgeous.

His portrait is strong and suggestive.

Great tones of gray.

(maybe a bit more sharpness? jpeg compression blur???)

Cheers.
